Instrumentos no sincronizados.

What started out as a series of Vásquez/Trujillo home rehearsals (July 2021) around a spontaneous generation of live treated rhythms, sounds and noises solidified once Jorge Cabargas and his percussive sense of pulse joined in late October. The recordings were made on computers and a cell phone in the home rehearsal space and processed later.
The first result of these recording sessions was opening a BandCamp page (March 2022) with an EP, Generador Automático de Nombres de Banda Death Metal (Automatic Death Metal Band Name Generator), that proposes a dissociated tour of landscapes and rhythm interferences, treated sounds and voices, somewhere between the rhythmic patters of a fractured dance music, expansive soundscapes, field recordings and a series of synthesizers and effects freely available online.
As far as the sound this triple unit generates, we could admit a certain vanishing point (or a diffuse territory) with certain landscapes and isolationist or noise elements and crushed sketches or fragments of rhythmic elements, specifically of a certain electronic dance music and phenomena closer to certain contemporary (post everything) developments such as Miami Bass, Chillwave and the Chopped and Screwewd sound, basically consisting in slowing down and intervening rhythm tracks in order to emphasize the flow, cadence and nuances implicit in a recording.
Trying to map the coordinates influencing the group interaction could be approached from a couple of quick notes:
A) Non-verbal communication when generating sound. “Honor thy error as a hidden intention”. Non-synchronized instruments.
B) Incorporating the recording techniques (recording software, cell phones) as a basic element in the generation of sound, more than just a means of recording.
C) Including rehearsal recordings in order to, from there edit/modify the results and reaching the group’s sound.
D) Generating a multilayered sound of multiple origins in real time.
E) Making the backgrounds and interests of the group members converge in a result with its own and untamed sound, more than insisting on what each of them has done before. That is more or less it.

Translating the detonating universal language of the short circuit on a social scale is an exercise that not due to its useless and opaque appearance is not fructiferous. As a thunderous failure and a ripped open crack that inevitably is in its own experience, with its juices spilled in the lax mouths of those inhabiting the abyss of the interconnected global village, failure erects itself s its biggest and most precious triumph, a bubbling joy without any (simulated) comparison or compromise. The open and gnawed-on glory of its existence is an oxidized haze that fits us on top of the bones like a silk mortuary suit as a ceremonial preparation for the multiple cataclysms of tomorrow impatiently awaiting, already toothless due to teeth grinding, but not incapable of biting.
